Memento Mori: In Latin, "memento mori" whispers a timeless truth: "Remember that you must die." It's like the universe's way of saying, "Don't take life too seriously; none of us make it out alive anyway." So, we've created a place where you can lighten up and enjoy every moment.

Memento Vivre: Conversely, "memento vivre" reminds us to "remember to live." Think of it as your friendly reminder to put down that spreadsheet and pick up a cup of something delicious. Life's too short for spreadsheets (unless you're into that, in which case, we won't judge!).

Who is Memento?
Memento Zero Proof is co-owned and founded by Shwa Hall and Max Gavin. Shwa and Max were raised in Fishers Indiana where they met at Fishers Junior High. The two have been best friends ever since.

Memento Zero Proof will be located in the heart of Fishers in the Nickel Plate District.
When will Memento open?
We currently expect to be open August 2023!
How can I support Memento?

Is Memento 21+ up?
Memento is all ages until 8pm seven days a week! After the clock hits 8pm we transition to an 18+ space to better mimic the traditional bar feel!
What does "Memento" mean?
Memento mori (Latin for 'remember that you [have to] die') is an artistic or symbolic trope acting as a reminder of the inevitability of death. The concept has its roots in the philosophers of classical antiquity and Christianity, and appeared in funerary art and architecture from the medieval period onwards.
For us at Memento it serves as our driving force. It is the creep of death, or rather the finiteness of life that pushes us every day to achieve our goals and leave this life without regret.
For our community we hope to instill this value of "carpe diem" or Seizing the day. Whether that is by providing a comfortable and inviting home to get work done or meet with friends and loved ones (Memento Brick & Mortar). Or simply through offering motivation and energy (Memento Apparel, Coffee, Mocktails)
